SECTION. 3.
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
SECTION. 4.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
I find the issue of the Constitution very interesting in this moment in history. Article I and Article II, both have alot to do with what we are witnessing with the current healthcare and states right in reguard to guns, gay marriage and taxes. I mean really, healthcare, and todays Obama speech on the subject, the threat of going 'nuclear'.

your observation is very astute, my friend. and when you consider the oath that the leaders of this nation takes before being allowed a seat in government then you realize just how important it is to take the Constitution into consideration before they vote on any and every issue.
and once you realize this you can see just important it is to understand the Constitution and what it says.
Is it also fair to say, these people in Washington do not read, or want anything to do with our Constitution.
Griper my only problem with that is my definition of 'treason'. When one swears an oath to and then delibertly goes against that oath should be ran out of the mordor on the potomic on a rail. Virtue is the only thing that has been driven from there. I don't know - maybe I'm a hard ass. I was brought up knowing that when you give your word, it meant something. Something that couldn't and cannot be broke. Something that isn't for sale for another term or forty pieces of silver.
